My children Jack and Lucy began aerobics 2 years ago at Action Sport. I love the philosophy of Action Sport and our coach Brie-Anna Howson. The philosophy is that all children can succeed no matter what their ability. Brie fosters an environment of building self esteem and happiness. My son Jack, with Bries amazing coaching and encouragement is a 3 time national champion and has recently returned from Amsterdam where Brie coached him to win the bronze medal at the world championships. My daughter Lucy is a child with autism and needs a different approach. Brie and her coaches got to know Lucy and how she thinks. They implemented some amazing strategies and as a result Lucy looks forward to her aerobics classes every week. I am so proud to say that even though it is not all about the results Lucy recieved such great personalised coaching that she won the bronze medal at the National championships and more recently also competed at her first world championships! As a parent i feel really invested in this club and feel included and valued. I highly recommend this club and its coaches to everyone considering joining. In the words of Tina Turner it is 'simply the best'.

Being the small shy 10 year old I was when I started sport aerobics, I never expected it to shape me the way it has to this day! This club and sport has provided me with so much. It has boosted my confidence and made it possible for me to perform skills I would have previously thought were impossible, but most importantly it has made me a part of a beautiful family. Nothing compares to being a part of a club that is so welcoming and caring, and creating friendships that will last you a lifetime. In my 7 years at Action Sport Aerobics I've been lucky enough to have travelled not only inter-state but also across the the world to represent my country in this sport, I consider this one of my most greatest achievements!  I'm also incredibly lucky to call myself a coach of Action Sport Aerobics, there is no job more rewarding than watching your own athletes improve, training them to be the best they can be and watching them put all their hard work into performing on stage at competitions. I owe all my thanks and success to my coach Brie, training me from my first ever aerobics class and never giving up on me even if I wanted to give up on myself! Helping me through set backs, such as injuries, stress or disapointments, or even any issue I'm facing. Pushing me past my limits and providing me with endless opportunities, and allowing me to experience adventures that I will remember for the rest of my life!!
